Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed and payments are made on schedule.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and tax filings under the guidance of senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budget planning and cash flow management strategies.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) to maintain accurate digital records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
