Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports to support executive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and tax filings.
- Optimize internal controls and financial workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide financial guidance and training to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reconciliation, and budgeting processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
