Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with tax department on quarterly filings and year-end documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Provide strategic financial insights to support client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and auditing procedures
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
