Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger reconciliation
- Analyze financial data and variance reporting for executive leadership
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Implement process improvements for accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Texas tax codes
- Proven experience with multi-state compliance (including Georgia operations)
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills
