Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse industry clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific Ohio tax codes
- Lead internal audits and implement process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel models
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of Ohio state tax regulations and compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
