Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial records.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage complex accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliation of bank statements.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to minimize risk and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Lead the coordination of external audits and tax filings with external partners.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff members.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to present financial findings to stakeholders.
