Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and reconciling discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and filings.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely vendor and client payments.
- Conduct monthly payroll audits and assist with payroll processing.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and operational recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or CPA candidate is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
