Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including invoice processing and collections.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
