Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and accurately.
- Prepare complex financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations (bank, credit card, intercompany).
- Collaborate with the external audit team to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for various departments.
Qualifications
- CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
