Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns with accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the internal audit process and implement recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
