As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial health, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and providing strategic insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze complex journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Assist in the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, FASB, and local regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns; support external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial systems and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel macros and pivot tables required).
- Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
