Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and external audits.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and internal control documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
