Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead audit coordination for external and internal reviews
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements for accounting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Ability to thrive in remote/hybrid environments
