The Role:
As our Accountant, you will be the backbone of our financial integrity. You will manage day-to-day accounting functions, prepare complex financial reports, and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and corporate audits.
- Ensure all financial data is recorded accurately in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Streamline internal financial processes and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide accurate financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience (Recent graduates with internships are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
