Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes with detailed variance analysis
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Lead accounts payable/receivable teams for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume transaction environments
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
