In this role, you will play a critical part in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with GAAP standards. You will collaborate closely with department heads to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial processes for efficiency and compliance.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- CPA certification is highly preferred but not required.
