Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
- Support external auditors during year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and control departmental expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
