As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring strict compliance with GAAP standards, and providing strategic insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Manage the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial audits and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filings with federal and state authorities.
- Develop and maintain the company's budget and forecast models to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
