Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure accurate financial recording.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and returns.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
