Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives to optimize financial workflows
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (including macros)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with immediate start requirements
