Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for executive reporting
- Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements
- Lead cross-departmental financial projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expertise in financial reporting, GAAP, and month-end close procedures
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial audits and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to lead projects and improve financial processes
