Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare detailed bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure strict adherence to accounting policies.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Oversee general ledger activities and journal entries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a plus, but not required for immediate consideration.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
