Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations with precision
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead tax preparation and compliance documentation for federal/state filings
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting software solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated success in managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Texas CPA license required or ability to obtain immediately
