Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ diverse clients across various industries
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and month-end closings
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Lead tax preparation and filing for corporate and individual clients
- Implement process improvements using accounting software integrations
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with immediate availability
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and presentations
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Texas CPA license or ability to obtain within 6 months
