Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and review financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (including VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial concepts
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (Texas focus required)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
