Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate reconciliation of all accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and cost-benefit analyses to drive operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of tax laws and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
