Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support the annual audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred but not required for immediate consideration.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
