Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
- Process payroll data and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end closing procedures.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is highly preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software (training provided).
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
