Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and process improvements
- Develop and monitor budgets vs. actuals with variance analysis
- Implement internal controls and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
