Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciling bank statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle high volumes of data.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
