Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and conduct variance analysis to identify financial trends.
- Assist in the budget preparation process and prepare monthly financial forecasting reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulatory requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure timely processing.
- Collaborate with external auditors during year-end audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
