Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and reconcile vendor statements and customer invoices to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the accounting department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
