Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of local and federal tax filings.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
