Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate fixed asset records.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and securely stored.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (immediate hire candidates welcome).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
