Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems (SAP experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into insights
