Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations (federal/state)
- Prepare executive dashboards and variance analysis for leadership
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle ERP systems
- Expertise in financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance
