Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation for multi-entity portfolios
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure audit readiness
- Analyze variance trends and deliver actionable financial insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow forecasting
- Collaborate with tax team on compliance and strategic tax planning
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and MS Excel (VBA a plus)
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to stakeholders
- Experience with audit preparation and regulatory compliance (SOX, SEC)
