Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle monthly and annual accounting close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and delivered on time.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and audit schedules.
- Monitor and enforce internal controls and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with the operations team to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
