Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex reconciliations for accounts payable/receivable and general ledger
- Lead month-end closing processes with accurate journal entries
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial operations
- Create financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing full accounting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
