Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax preparations
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- El Paso residency strongly preferred
