As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, support our leadership team with critical data analysis, and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, verifying data, and reconciling accounts.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved immediately.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, ensuring strict adherence to local and federal tax regulations in Oregon.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger and assist in the month-end close process, ensuring all journal entries are posted accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to review complex financial data for errors and ensure high standards of accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies and resolve issues under tight deadlines.
