Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate general ledger maintenance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with minimal supervision
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and compliance
- Maintain financial databases using QuickBooks Enterprise and SAP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and auditing
