Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with emphasis on efficiency and fraud prevention
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and balance sheet accounts
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and internal reviews
- Develop and implement financial controls to improve operational efficiency
- Support tax preparation and compliance activities with external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience managing month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
