Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ diverse business clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Implement process improvements in accounting workflows
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation and financial reporting
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication with non-finance stakeholders
