Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly/annual reviews and tax preparations
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental leadership
- Maintain compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Proven track record of managing month-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
