Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits and prepare supporting documentation for external reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in financial statement preparation and complex reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
