We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Milwaukee, WI. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes and controls.
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to management to support decision-making.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports to stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
