Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ client portfolios including AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadline adherence
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite and QuickBooks platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced expertise in NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client stakeholder management
- Boston-area residency or immediate relocation capability
- Proven track record of meeting tight financial deadlines
