Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely processing
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and support
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
