Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in immediate start, high-pressure environments
- Valid Arizona CPA license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
